Joyce C. Lookebill

DRUMMOND – Joyce C. Lookebill, 78, of Drummond, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Hunters Glen. She was born Nov. 2, 1934, in Spokane, the daughter of Etta and Donald Hyer.

She married Thomas Lookebill on Sept. 29, 1956, and the couple raised their family in the Spokane area. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Her family includes four children, son, Rick, his wife Diane and their children Steven (Tana), William (Bonnie), Leslie (Jeff), Tammy (Brandon) and Joseph (Randi); daughter, Teresa, her husband Mike O'Dell and their children Corey (Jennifer) and Brandon (Megan); son, Timmy; and son, Rodney, his wife Babette and their children Christi (Mike), Rodney Jr., Lisa and Gage. She has 15 great-grandchildren and a brother, Donald Hyer and his wife Shirley. Our mom and grandmother will be remembered as a loving lady with a strong and tender faith in Christ.

Viewing will be at the Drummond Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Thursday, Feb. 14, from 10 to 11 a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m. A light luncheon will be provided in the relief society room following services. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the Pines Cemetery in Spokane.

The family suggests that in Joyce's memory, donations be made to a cancer society or association. Arrangements are under the care of Garden City Funeral Home.
