Joyce Bethke (Molenda)

Joyce (Molenda) Bethke, 83, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014 of natural causes at her home up the Rock Creek.
Joyce was born on December 28, 1930, in Glendive to Leo and Jessica Ruth (Kent) Molenda. Joyce was the first child of 16. She graduated from high school in 1948. Joyce had her daughter, Vicki, on December 10, 1949. She married William "Bill" Bethke in Misssoula on August 19, 1950 and they just recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. They lived in many different places while Bill was involved in the road construction business. Joyce was a homemaker. They settled in Missoula. They built their own dream home up the Rock Creek and made the move to it in 1987. Many family gatherings were held up the Rock Creek. Many good times were had
She enjoyed gardening, flowers, hummingbirds, fishing, and other wildlife observations, along with watching and going to rodeos. She loved those special pets that shared her home over the years. She did crocheting and loved to bake goodies of all kinds to share with her loved ones. She and Bill traveled to Alaska several times with their RV and enjoyed trips to many family reunions.
she was a member of the Lady Eagles and the Lady Moose and enjoyed bowling and other activities with both groups. They were loyal supporters of the U of M and attended the football and basketball games for many years.
Family was of the most importance to Joyce. She truly loved all of you. Her grand and great -grandchildren were the angels in her life and each of them was a blessing to he.
Joyce's siblings would like to express their thankfulness to Coriann and her family for the loving care and kindness they gave her during her illness.
Joyce joins those who have gone on before her: daughter, Vicki, parents, Leo and Jessica, brothers, Stanley, Gordon. and Kevin, sisters, Gladys, Beverly, Carol, Sharon, and Wanda.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bill, granddaughters, Dawnyel (Scott) Scheff and Coriann (Kelly) Lindseth; great-grandchildren, Spencer Scheff and a Scheff baby to be arriving March 20, 2015, Lukas Lindseth, Tyler Lindseth, Cassie Lindseth and Miley Lindseth, brothers, Ronald Molenda, Richard Molenda, and Robert (Jackie) Molenda, sisters, Frances Doll, Linda (Phil) Johnson and Waneta Gardner-Kelly and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, Seprtmber 13, 2014 at 2 p.m.
