Obituary for Joslyn Sage Farrell

(0) SignaturesFEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Joslyn Sage Farrell was born Dec. 11, 2006, to Wade Farrell and Katrina Guisasola in Burien, Wash. She was unfortunately and suddenly taken away from us Sunday, June 23, 2013, in a tragic accident.

Joslyn was a good student. She was the first student in her school's history to be a "self-manager" in kindergarten. She had tremendous patience and focus for such a little girl. She was wise beyond her years. We were so proud of her and her accomplishments.

Joslyn looked up to her older sisters, Trinity and Chloe. Her little sister Makenzie was her pal, and she watched over her just like a big sister should.

Joslyn was protective about her strawberry patch at Grandma Kathy's. They were her strawberries, not the birds' or chickens'! She was diligent about keeping them out of it.

Joslyn always looked forward to our family adventures together, whether it was camping, a trip to the National Bison Range, to the farm to do chores, riding horses, or floating and swimming. Outdoor adventures were the highlight of her life. Joslyn also looked forward to going to Sabbath school and Vacation bible school during the summer.

Joslyn was a fun-loving little girl. She had the biggest smile and prettiest blue eyes that sparkled and you couldn't help but smile. Her smile brought sunshine to all she touched.

Joslyn, touched a lot of people with her gift of conversation and ability to make friends. Her beautiful spirit will live long after she did. May we all touch the lives as profoundly as this beautiful spirit did in such a short amount of time! God bless you, wonderful, amazing girl!

Joslyn is survived by her father, Wade; mother, Katrina; three sisters, Trinity, Chloe and Makenzie; grandparents; great-grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sage, "You were the first of the two best things that ever happened to me and part of my heart will forever be missing until I see you again." – Daddy
