It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Joseph "Joe" Schreer, aged 57, of Kalispell. Joe left us on Friday, February 16, 2024, at St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula. We will be holding an interment with Military Honors at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery to honor Joe's service. Your kind words and condolences are welcome at gardencityfh.com.
Joseph Allen Schreer, born on April 2, 1966, in Howell, Michigan, was the son of Alfred and Betty (Adams) Schreer. A graduate of Montabella High School in Blanchard, Michigan, Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army after graduation and was honorably discharged. Throughout his career, he demonstrated his talent as a self-employed finish drywaller.
Joe found joy in the great outdoors, whether it was camping, kayaking, or riding his 3-wheeler/4-wheelers. His sociable nature meant he never met a stranger, and he cherished the time spent with family and friends. Above all, Joe was a loyal son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Joe is survived by three siblings, Daniel (Jeanie) Schreer, Diane (Brad) Meeuwsen, and Lisa Corino, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Betty Schreer, and his brother, Alan Schreer.
In loving memory of Joe, let us remember the warmth and joy he brought to our lives.
