John D Moore

John D. Moore, age 60, passed away September 20, 2021, due to losing his battle with illness. John was born October 14, 1960, to Myrna and Leslie Moore. John was born in Ogden, Utah. John lived between Idaho and Montana. John attended school in Stevensville, then he attended the Vo-Tech to get his diesel mechanic degree.

Afterwards he went to work for Stimpson lumber. He went to trucking school and became a professional truck driver and continued to his current job at Sacs trucking.

John and Barb met at the Missoula stockyards, where he was working, at the age of 19. They later married and had two children, Kimberly and Christopher Moore. The family lived Between Missoula and Frenchtown.

John enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and just being outdoors with his family. He loved driving to the top of the mountains and look out across the mountains seemed a little cloud coverage covering the valley.

He loved helping the grandkids with their 4-H projects and giving them advice on anything they asked him. He loved his grandkids to death, he always looked forward to seeing them and hearing from them. He loved being a professional truck driver.

He always loved having big family parties. He was always the life of the party, making everyone smile and laugh every chance he got. Father’s Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend were always the most fun! Planning the Father’s Day party was so much fun and a great way to start off the party season.

Memorial Day weekend was the start to the camping season. He always loved cooking, but he loved his coffee even more, always having his travel mug with him. He would always offer everyone coffee when they came to the house. He would always wake up before everyone else and get his coffee going, he would sit Looking out the window in the house or at the campfire while everyone else woke to join him.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Les and Myrna Moore.

John Is survived by his Wife Barbara Moore, and kids Chris Moore (Teaha) and Kimberly Moore. Grandkids (the apples of his eye) Nathaniel, Shaun, Shayla, Gabriel, and Aeona Moore. His brother Cliff Moore, his sisters Cindy Moore, and Gayla Moore.
