John Ralph Kanta

John Ralph Kanta age 90 of Federal Way, WA passed away July 27, 2016 at St Patricks Hospital, Missoula, MT after complications from a fall.

Born December 7, 1925 to Hjalmer and Anna Kanta in Finlayson, MN.

John served his country during WWII with the Army. On January 31, 1953 he married Emily Emma Sprandel. John and Emily moved to Federal Way, WA in 1963 and began working for the Boeing Company shortly after.

On November 25, 1989 he married Georgine L Vork-Koski.

He was preceded in death by his wife Emily, mother, father and five siblings and three great grandchildren.

Survivors include wife Georgine, two daughters Barbara Kanta of NC, Debra Kanta-Hubbell (Gary) of WA and son David J Kanta (Barbara) of WA and three stepsons Mike Koski (Darlene) of MN, Kevin Koski of MN, Keith Koski (Donna) of WY; also seven grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
