MISSOULAâ,**– On Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, Joan A. Myers quietly departed this earth to be welcomed into the arms of the Father.
She was born in Mundelein, Ill., on Dec. 2, 1933, to William and Zelma Knedler. They moved to Billings and she graduated from Billings Senior. She married Donald Myers on Nov. 14, 1954.
They had four children and settled in Missoula.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; and her great-grandson, Ethan.
She is survived by her four children, Gary Myers, David Myers, Diana Bates and Susan Hopkins (Dale); eight incredible grandchildren; 13 wonderful great-grandchildren; and one future blessing she won't meet on this earth.
Joan was an incredibly strong woman who positively affected everyone she met. Her love for her family could not be matched. To say she will be greatly missed is an understatement. We are greatly comforted knowing she no longer suffers and is at home with the father.
A celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow immediately after the service.
