Obituary for Jesse Jacob James

Jesse Jacob James died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Mineral Community Hospital surrounded by his family and under the diligent care of Rocky Mountain Hospice and the Staff of Mineral Community Hospital.
Jesse was born February 16, 1942 in Logan, Utah to Frank and Orilla James. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother; Bud, and sister, Helen Brockway.
He graduated from Superior High School and attended the U of M school of Forestry. He packed for the Forest Service, worked construction, spent time on fishing boats in Alaska and finally settled into his passion of spending time in the woods, hunting, fishing, trapping, logging, (the timber industry).
He married Wanda Dinius in 1972, and they had one son, Todd (Amy). He loved his family, reading, nature, and the Lord. He was a former Deacon and member of Superior Assembly of God and was instrumental in forming a Chapter of Christian Loggers in Mineral County.
He is survived by his wife and son and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Superior Assembly of God with a potluck to follow.
