Jennea Anne Thompson

Jennea Anne Thompson, 33, of Missoula, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at St. Patrick Hospital due to complications of a stroke.
Jenny was born and raised in Helena and grew up with all of her cousins in the area and was fortunate, in her early years , to be watched and nurtured in the daytime hours by her grandparents Maxine and Harold. She excelled at school and had an interest in all subjects including a love of art. She played soccer for a lot of her growing years and soft ball in high school athletics and was on a traveling team for a few summers. In the winter season she also played on the school volleyball team. She graduated from Helena High and then went on to spend a couple of years at the University of Montana, in Missoula.
Missoula became Jenny's home and she developed relationships and friends that were an important part of her life. She worked for Rishoshay and Harrington Surgical, among others, and met many of her friends through those times at work.
In recent years, she had returned to school and had developed a relationship with Ryan Williams and served as a mother to his three children; Maria, Dominick and Dylan.
Jenny had a love of gardening and was especially talented as a cook and chef. She loved to travel and camped and RV'd with her parents.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Margie Thompson of Helena, and her Grandmother, Maxine Treadway, also of Helena. Her cousins Carrie, Greg, Nicole, Corey, Dawn, Cole, Nathan, Maggie, Lori, Marshall, Brian, Valerie, Whitney, Cal, Trenton, Shelley, Jackie, Carlye, Marcie, and Justin. She is also survived by her many Aunts and Uncles.
Services will be held at Garden City Funeral Home, 1705 West Broadway, Missoula, on Thursday, June 20, at 1:00 P.M with a reception following in the community room.
