Jeffery George "Jeff" Kuntz

Jeffery (Jeff) George Kuntz, 60, of Missoula, passed away on Thursday August 4th at his home, of natural causes.

Jeff was born on August 16th, 1961, in Richardton, North Dakota, to George and Genevieve (Jenny) Kuntz. He attended Hawthorne Elementary and Hellgate Highschool.

Jeff’s love of bowling landed him a job at Liberty Lanes where he worked for over 20 years. He had many bowling friends to whom he enjoyed bowling and visiting with. In 1998 Jeff left the bowling alley and purchased Blakney’s Glass which he ran for over twenty years. At the time of his death he was employed with AT&T at the Missoula call center.

On August 4, 1990 he married Verna Guy and became a step father to Bryan Guy. Though their marriage did not last, from their union three children were born, Kristine, Michael and Kalene. Jeff was so proud of his kids and supported them in all of their many activities. Which at times had him traveling throughout Montana and the Western US to watch his children in their many activities.

Jeff was a wonderful grandfather to seven little girls that he loved dearly. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He would do anything for them, even letting them paint his beard pink! It is with heavy hearts knowing that he will not have the opportunity to give his granddaughters anymore big hugs, make them laugh from his jokes, spoil them with endless love, nor meet and love future grandchildren.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father George Kuntz.

He is survived by his mother Jenny Kuntz. His children, Bryan (Shelby) Guy, Kristine (Riley) Semmens, Michael (Kelci) Kuntz, and Kalene (Jesse) Colwell. His grandchildren Kennedy and Hayden Guy, Kylie, Brooklyn, and baby Semmens, Hallie and Ella Kuntz, and Annika Colwell. He is also survived by his brother Wayne (Shelley) Kuntz and his sister Sandy Kuntz (Everett Blakney). And his former spouse Verna Kuntz.
