Obituary for Jeanne Hall (Taylor)

Jeanne (Taylor) Hall, 73, longtime resident of Missoula, passed away from a long battle with cancer on Monday, March 24, 2014.

Jeanne was born in Great Falls on June 11, 1940, the daughter of L.E. Taylor "Bud" and Peggy Taylor. She was raised in Choteau, graduating from Choteau High School in 1958. Jeanne attended Kinman Business University in Spokane and then moved to Missoula where she has since resided.

She married Bill Hall on Nov. 19, 1961, in Missoula where they raised their family. In 2011, Bill and Jeanne celebrated 50 years of marriage. She worked at St. Patrick Hospital, Shipper Services and Hallmark and Treasure Chest.

Jeanne had a deep love for the outdoors, boating, fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, nature and the Denver Broncos.

She is survived by her husband Bill Hall of Missoula; daughter Dawn Hall Peterson (Jon) of Frenchtown; son Brad Hall (Shelia) of Lolo; four grandchildren, Cassie Hall, Tiffany Hall, Keifer Peterson and Kolby Peterson; sister Judy Taylor-Larson of Great Falls; and special friend and sister-in-law Phillis Chambers of Missoula.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Larry Taylor in 1969.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanne's memory may be sent to Partners Hospice in Home Care or a charity of your choice.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at the West Side Lanes Banquet Room, 1615 Wyoming St.
