Jean E. Lemons, 86, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at St. Patrick Hospital of complications from injuries related to an automobile accident.
Jean was born June 13, 1926, in Compton, California, to Luther and Martha Donica. She attended schools in Darby and graduated from Darby High School in 1945.
Jean worked all of her life in various occupations. Her last employment was as evening supervisor of housekeeping at Community Hospital from which she retired in 1991.
Jean enjoyed her family, grandchildren, gardening, the outdoors and travel.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie of Missoula; brother, Lee of Newark, California; son, Kelly (Janine) Brown of Missoula; granddaughters, Pam Buchanan of Houston, Lisa (Jason) Corning of Richland, Washignton, JoAnna (Rob) Dean of Richland, Davia Brown of Carson City, Nevada, Rebecca Brown of Missoula, Kelly Michelle Brown of Missoula; five great-granddaughters and five great-grandsons; and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her son, James; an infant daughter; parents and sisters, Joyce and Barbara.
She is also survived by her husband Lonnie's children, Lannie Lemons, Larren Lemons and Trisha Huff, and their families.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at Garden City Funeral Home with Dan Dixson officiating. Inurnment will occur at a later date.
