Jay Lebus ’Powers, of Missoula, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 23,2017
At St. Patrick Hospital.
Jay was born on March 28,1955, in Crookston, Minnesota to Vincent and Thelma Powers.
Jay was raised in Missoula, attending Target Range Elementary and Hellgate High School. Working as a heavy equipment mechanic for local companies and self-employed for years.
On Sept. 22,1983 he married Dr. Marjorie Rosch Powers in Missoula. The couple lived and worked
Owning various businesses while raising their children. Jay was very involved with boy-scouts, as
Scout Leader, and helped in family childcare business.
He enjoyed being with friends while riding his Harley all over Montana. He traveled extensively to
British Columbia and Alberta. He enjoyed BBQing, camping, skiing and many outdoor activities; old rock and roll music, antique cars, & racing when he was young.
Jay was a loving and thoughtful husband and father and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Marjorie, two sons: Jay Matthew Jodsaas Powers (Billings), Cody Alexander Lebus’ Powers. Daughter: Denielle Cassie Cynthia Rose Powers. Granddaughter Christina (Billings). Brothers: Jack Powers (Vancouver) Ralph Powers (Hamilton) & Kim Powers (Portland).
Visitation/Service will be Monday Aug. 28 at (1:00) Service 2pm at Garden City Funeral Home

Those who have motorcycles are encouraged to ride for Jays last ride into the sunset.
