Jason Michael Johns, 35, passed away on August 3, 2016 at St. Patrick's Hospital after complications from an ATV accident.
Jason was born in Landstuhl, Germany on April 5, 1981 to Jackie and Darrell Johns. Jason had the opportunity to live in several state from Germany he and his family moved to Texas, from there to Alaska and finally in Dugway, Utah where his Father finished out his military career.
While at Dugway High School Jason participated in many sports and lettered in Cross Country and Baseball. He was voted Most Friendly by fellow students. While in High School he met his future Wife, Chelsea Miller.
On April 8, 2011 Jason and Chelsea were married in Las Vegas, Nevada. They eventually settled outside of Stevensville, Montana.
Jason was a proud member of Montana Rail Link where he was a Locomotive Engineer. He was a hard worker and someone you could always depend on. He made several lasting friendships through his job there.
Jason had so many joys in his life but none more important than his children and family. He was a devoted father and participated in everything from playing Barbie's to shooting guns. He enjoyed cooking and was known for his steaks, fudge, and banana bread. He was born into hunting and fishing and would have had it no other way. He enjoyed being around nature and spending time in the woods with all his family
Preceded in death by this Father, Darrell Johns. Grandparents, Inez and Frank Johns. Grandparents, Gemma and Jack Gaffney.
Survivors include his Wife, Chelsea Johns, and his Children, Sammy, Vivianna, Cadence, and Ryann Johns. Mother, Jackie Johns. Brother, Josh (Heather) Johns. Sister, Cortney (Andy) Harmon. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
A service will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Garden City Funeral Home in Missoula, Montana; Reception to follow at same location. Condolences for the family may be made at gardencityfh.com
