Jason Flink

Jason Flink was brutally taken from us on October 19, 2018. He was born in Butte, Montana to Eva (Gertz) and Jim Flink. He lived in Butte until he was 5 and then moved to Nampa, Idaho and resided there until he was 16. He made a lot of wonderful friends and memories there. He moved to Missoula and finished high school there. He was enrolled in college at University of Montana at the time of his death, pursuing a degree in business and marketing. Jason had a very strong belief in faith and loved to read the Bible and attend church. He loved everybody and always wanted to help people. He helped a lot of friends to have a strong faith and helped many friends through dark times in their lives. To know Jason was to love Jason. He was a guardian angel to so many people on earth and now we know he is watching over us. We cannot begin to understand why he was taken from us so soon, but God must have had other plans for him. He formed a very strong bond with his mother’s fiancé, Kevin Fournier over the last 3 years and loved spending time with him and his family. He referred to Kevin as “Sonny”. They spent a lot of time together watching football and talking about their religious beliefs. He loved his sister Kayla, brother Alex and his nephews so much! In 2012, Jason found out that he had an extended family to include father, Mark Curnow and two siblings, Courtney and Brandon Curnow. He loved them very much. He also considered Kevin Fournier to be his father and considered his sons, Jake and Brian Fournier, to be his brothers. He also considered family friend Cory Hyndman to be like a brother, along with his very close friends, Patrick Simon, AJ Bellon, Donovan Linear, Kincaid Jensen and many others. He is survived by his mother, Eva (Kevin), father Jim (Cecelia) Flink, father Mark Curnow, grandparents, Theron Gertz, Carole and Gail Walkingshaw, Ron and Betty Fournier, Jean Flink, siblings, Kayla (Johnny) Chavez, Alexander Flink, Courtney Curnow, Brandon Curnow, Jake Fournier, Brian Fournier, Tyler (Kristy) Reagan and Riley Reagan.
