Janis L. Madsen

On Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, Janis Lynn Madsen passed away after a long and very brave battle with serious health issues. Her charm, wit and generous heart will be missed by all of us who loved her so much.

Janis was born in Missoula on March 1, 1952, to Sherman and Fern Madsen. She attended Lewis and Clark grade school and graduated from Sentinel High School in 1970. The most important thing to Janis was her family. She is survived by her mother Fern; sister Joann; son Bryan (Jenn); grandchildren, Kyler, Ryan, Isaiah, Logan, Shelby, Kenzie and Bryson. Also surviving are her nieces Abby and her family and Christie; nephews Erik and John; and best friends, Janice and Candy.

Janis is joining her father Sherman and daughter Jennifer and two brothers, Sherm and Dave, in heaven.

Janis was a beautiful gift in our lives and her memory will live in our hearts foever.
