Lolo

Jamie Evered, 51, of Missoula passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at home.  Services will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.

Jamie Loyd Evered, son of Floyd and Donna Lee (Crosby) Evered, was born April 30, 1972 in Butte, Montana.  The family moved to Missoula when Jamie was three years old and he attended Hellgate High School in Missoula.  After school he went into the automotive industry working as an Autobody Technician for thirty years at Southside Auto Reconditioning.  He had a true passion for cars and was a talented technician.  Jamie was united in marriage with Julie Hanson on June 28, 1997 at the Lolo Community Church.  He was Julie’s greatest love.

Jamie was always tinkering on vehicles at work and at home.  His dreams car was an 1969 Chevelle, but indulged Julie’s Jeep obsession, owning many Jeeps throughout their years together.  He had a knack for making people laugh and lovingly getting under their skin with his whit and cleverness. Jamie was a proud man, but his family was what he was most proud of.  He loved being a grandpa to his four grandchildren.  Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Julie Evered; mother, Donna Lee Evered; daughter, Kassi (Dennis) Brown; step-daughter, Taylor Miller; adopted son-in-law, Kris (Michelle) Swenson; granddaughters, Paisley Brown and Dallas Swenson; grandsons, Ayden Swenson and Atlas Swenson; siblings, Paula Pier; Nancy Neal; Susan (Brad) Sandau; Diane Thompson; Amy Michaels; Dean Evered; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Evered; brothers, Lynn Evered; Kim Evered; Jan Evered; sister, Merry Martell; and brother-in-law, Ernie Neal.
