Jade Lynae Davis, 33, of Missoula, passed peacefully of natural causes Saturday, March 8, 2014, at her home after struggling many years with significant health problems.
Jade was born March 6, 1981, in Eugene, Ore., to Robyn and William "Bill" Davis. Her younger years were spent in Oregon. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and riding four-wheelers with her mom, brothers and Mike Brownell.
She graduated as valedictorian from Springfield (Ore.) High. After graduation, she moved to Missoula, where she continued her love of the outdoors.
Jade will be remembered for being full of life and love. No matter how sick she was, she always considered herself lucky. Eric and Silke were the highlights of her life.
Survivors include her best friend and soul mate, Eric J Sampson; her furry child, Sike; mother, Robyn Davis of Springfield; brothers, Kyle and Ryan Davis; aunt, Jeanie (Dale) Nelson-Moore; uncle, David Hearn; grandpa, John Nelson; nephews, Kyle and Kane Davis, Austin Cook, Brandon and Cody Hearn; niece, Savanna Freeman; and her adopted family, Sherrie and Ted Hagemo, Eric and Al Sampson, Zane, Anna, Hailey and Alex Sampson, and Crystal, Chris and Mikal Sampson-Chaussee.
She was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Davis; and grandparents, Amy Nelson and Mitch James.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Garden City Funeral Home with a potluck reception immediately following
