Jack Stahl passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at his son's home in Missoula of natural causes. He was born June 21, 1927, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Edward and Gladys Stahl. Jack was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran, serving in the Asia-Pacific Theater. After WWII ended, Jack was stationed in Shanghai, China, working for Admiral Cooke. After his Navy tour, Jack attended the University of Oklahoma, Stanford University and graduated with a B.S. in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
Jack spent 30-plus years at FMC Corporation as a sales manager covering the U.S. and Asia Pacific regions. Jack is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Stahl, and his son Greg Stahl, both of Missoula; and two granddaughters.
Cremation is being arranged by Garden City Funeral Home. No service is planned.
