Inez Irene Hegge

Inez Irene Hegge passed peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014. She was born to Ivy and Earl Beebe on April 7, 1929, in Ryegate. Inez was one of 16 children.

She volunteered for the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, in which she was active for many years. She sewed many gifts for the veterans at the Columbia Falls Veterans Home. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed sewing, crafts and camping among other things. She was wonderful cook, amazing mother, aunt, sister, friend and Nezi.

She was an accomplished seamstress and taught her children and many of her grandchildren to sew. She was always happy and saw the bright side of everything. She warmly greeted everyone she met and always tried to make them feel welcome.

She was called Nezi by her 11 grandchildren and 28 1/2 great-grandchildren.

She married Harold Thomas Murray on Dec. 5, 1947. They had four children, Ken, Larry, Penny and Nick.

She married Allen Duane Hegge on Nov. 7, 1958. He adopted her four children and together they had two children, Karen and Curt.

She was married to Hilbert Seines at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her first two husbands; three children, Penny, Nick and Curt; 13 siblings; and survived by brothers Art and Les.

There will be celebration of her life at the Missoula VFW, 245 W. Main St., at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13
