Obituary for Henrietta J. Blair

Missoula-Henrietta J. Blair passed away Sunday Sept. 1, 2013 at Hillside Manor. She was born on Dec. 12, 1912 in Moxcee City, WA to Anna (Hartog) and Harry Gideonse. She moved with her parents to the Bitterroot Valley when she was two weeks old. She graduated from Stevensville High School. After graduation she attended business school in Spokane.
On Aug. 28, 1934 she married Louis L. Blair from Victor. They were married for 55 years until his passing in 1989.
She is survived by her daughter Dayle (Gail) Allen, Missoula, son George (Judy) Blair Grandview, MO, daughter-in-law Debra Blair, Kalispell.
She is also survived by seven grandsons, two granddaughters, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, a sister Jennie Bentham, Missoula and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis L. Blair in 1989, her parents Anna and Harry Gideonse, her brother Matthys (Thys) Gideonse in 1955 and her son Douglas Blair in 2006.
Mom and Grandma, you are missed by all the family. We love you.
Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at the First Baptist Church where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday. A reception will follow the service, served by the Ladies of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be at the Victor Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the First Baptist Church.
