Helen Kozlowski

– Helen Kozlowski was born in Chicago on May 18, 1924. She lived in that city most of her life, moving to Missoula after visiting a friend here in 2003. Her death occurred Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents and her five siblings.

World travel was an important part of Helen's life, and she wrote an interesting book about her journeys, "One Way Ticket to the World." She also enjoyed working with watercolors and decorated her home with her paintings.

Helen always found peace and fulfillment in simply accepting life as it presented itself to her. This included her attitude toward her illness and her final journey. She is survived by several nieces and nephews in the Midwest, and she is remembered fondly by her friends in Missoula, the Midwest and around the world.
