Hazel Lillian Conrad, 83, of Missoula, passed away at home Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
She was born Aug. 11, 1930, in Ogden, Utah, to Thomas and Maye Pledger. She often said that her years in Missoula were the happiest years of her life. The friendship and fellowship she enjoyed here fed her heart and soul in deep, rich ways. We are glad her suffering has been changed to joy just as God has promised.
She is survived by four children, Marilyn (Sam) Aburia of Maplewood, Minn., Vicki (Jim) Erickson of Des Moines, Wash., Anita (David) Miles of Eugene, Ore., and Gene (Julie) Conrad of Ronan; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Maye Powell; sisters-in-law, Evelyn McConn and Theresa Pledger; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Lyle; daughter, Judy; and brother, Ralph.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the home of Norman and Bonnie Kolden
