Harry E Hoiland
Harry Elmer Hoiland passed away at Community Medical Center on May 11, 2018 after a long battle with COPD.
Harry was born on May 27, 1944 to Tony and Gladys Hoiland in Anaconda, Montana. Growing up, he spent his summers on Georgetown Lake. There, he met the love of his life Margaret “Peggy” Beausoliel. They were married in 1970 and in 1979, they moved their family to Missoula.
Harry will be remembered for his huge heart, great sense of humor, and his willingness to help anyone. He could fix anything and was only a phone call away when his kids or grandkids needed help, someone to listen, or advice about anything. Our hearts are broken, he will be greatly missed.
Harry enjoyed hunting at Frog Pond, fishing, and everything outdoors. He was a great cook and always wanted to make sure everyone else was taken care of.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Peggy, son Tommy, sister Linda Hoiland, brothers Alvin and Walter Hoiland, and his parents.
Harry is survived by his son, Jim Hoiland & his wife, Vicki; daughter Lisa Bragstad & her husband, Kevin; daughter Jamie Henri & her husband Scott; grandchildren Travis Hoiland, Amberlynn Weber, Shaniece Hoiland, Korbin Bragstad, Kylah Bragstad, and Colton Weber; brothers John Hoiland and Thor Hoiland; many nieces & nephews and lifelong friends.
