Harold Gow, 50, was born in Missoula to Robert "Bob" and Patricia "Patsy" (Maiers) Gow on May 9, 1964. He passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014. Harold was one of four boys in the Gow family and grew up mostly in Missoula.
Harold was one of the most loving, kind and generous men to ever grace this earth. He never forgot an important date and always made those special calls to remind us, he was truly the glue that held the entire family together. Harold was a truck driver for the past 20 years, but he was proficient in many things and there was almost nothing he couldn't accomplish. He was an avid outdoorsmen and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He also enjoyed bowling and bowled perfect 300 games twice. He also raised tropical fish and collected rare coins, but most of all Harold enjoyed spending time with his family. He touched all our lives in a way that will never be forgotten. Heaven has gained a new angel and those of us left behind have lost someone we all looked up to.
Harold was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Maiers. Survivors include his father and best friend, Robert Gow; his children, James, Tyler, Jordan and Morgan Gow, all of Missoula; his partner in life for the last 3 1/2 years Connie Kelly of Butte and her children Hailee, Mark and Kayla, as well as her family. He is also survived by his three brothers, Mike, Dale and Todd Gow.
Anyone wishing to remember Harold is asked to do an act of kindness in his name because he was always the one to help others.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at Florence-Carlton Cemetery in Florence.
Garden City Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Pallbearers for his services will be his sons James, Tyler, brothers Mike, Dale, Todd, cousin Tony Maiers and his father Bob (Honorary
