Harold "Kent" Ferguson of Missoula passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, of natural causes, surrounded by his family. He was 72 years old.
Kent was born Dec. 20, 1943, in Missoula to Arvin and Jewell Ferguson. He had an older brother, James. He attended Central Grade School, graduated from Missoula County High School in 1961 and went on to attend the University of Montana for a short time. Kent had a deep love for Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, traveling the world everywhere from Brazil to Israel, and taking his family on many motor home adventures across the country.
He was an avid fisherman, sports fan, basketball player, and rarely missed a football or basketball game of his beloved Montana Grizzlies. The most important part of his life was his deep faith in Christ, his church, his family and his sweet granddaughters.
