Gregory Tabish

Gregory P. “Greg” Tabish, 56, of Corvallis, Montana, passed away on Friday, February 10th, 2023 at Community Medical Center in Missoula, following a period of declining health. 

Greg was born April 9, 1966 in Missoula to Bob and Patricia Tabish. Following high school graduation Greg joined the Marine Corps, where he dutifully and honorably served for sixyears, primarily in California and on boats overseas.

Greg could be described as a family man, nothing was more important that supporting his children and grandchildren in their lives and especially at their sporting events. He and Madonna loved going for rides, near and far, and on those longer trips they would take he always looked forward to picking out a great souvenir to bring home. His family will always remember their special Memorial Day trip to Silverwood Theme Park where veterans were shown appreciation each year. Greg loved calling Montana home and took advantage of being in the great outdoors. Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes. Saying Greg was a fan of sports could be considered an understatement, but you could definitely say he was a diehard, lifelong, Raiders fan. His quick wit and great combacks to wise remarks will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish Greg’s memory are his loving mother, Patricia Tabish;  devoted wife Madonna Tabish; beloved children: Kayla Tabish, Kendra (Jullean Cook) Tabish, Kalsee Owens, Nathan Dear, Curtis (Jessica) Dear and Tiffany (David Stephens) Dear; cherished grandchildren: Haley, Tori, Eadyn, Kinslie, Fayth, Amiyah, William, and Braeleigh, and the one due this summer; his much anticipated great-grandbaby on the way this summer; dear siblings: Rob (Susan) Tabish, David Fisher and Lisa (Rick) Atchison; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. 

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Tabish and stepfather William Fisher. 

A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 1:00 in the afternoon at the Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory, 1705 West Broadway, Missoula, Montana.
