Grace M "Peggy" Thurston

Grace Marie “Peggy” Thurston passed away Wednesday October 4th, 2017 at Hillside Healthcare Center, from complications from a stroke that occurred in July of 2016.

Peggy” was born on July 15th, 1938 in Twin Falls, ID to Albert and Lucille Denney. She graduated from Murtaugh High School, Murtaugh, ID in 1956. Moved to Montana in 1956, worked for Coffee Drug until 1958 – She lived with her Aunt Mary and Uncle Ray Thurston where she met her husband Edward Leroy Thurston they were married in May, 1958, they were married for 41 years.

Peggy also worked at the University of Montana from 1969 to 1977, The 88 Cent Store (for a short while),

Hellgate Elementary from 1980 to 1999

Peggy was preceded by: Levi Fredriclson grandson, her parents, her husband and her daughter Collette Thurston and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Peggy is survived by: Albert Edward Thurston, Patrice Lucille Fredrickson (Mike). Stepson Mike Thurston (Margee) Sisters; Alberta “Bert” Mason, Pauline Thomas (Ike) Grandchildren; Donald Edward Thurston (Reanna), Brenda Lamb, Michael Allen Fredrickson, Travis Lee Fredrickson, Tana Thurston, Tara Thurston, Chad Thurston, Tawsha Thurston, Great Grandchildren; Delany, Sawyer, Avynn Bryer and many special nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday October 14th, 2017 at Garden City Funeral Home 1705 W. Broadway Missoula, MT at 3:00pm.
