Glenn Davenport passed away in his home on Wednesday morning, Oct. 2, 2013. Glenn was born in Sweeney, Texas, to Marvin and Gladys Davenport on Oct. 23, 1944. He was a man of many talents and led an adventurous life. His charismatic personality enabled him to make many friends and connections, which brought him to Montana where he met the love of his life, Judy Oliver. Together they enjoyed new adventures, including their love of hunting and fishing and their combined family. Glenn's unique sense of humor, wisdom and colorful stories will forever live on through those who were lucky enough to know him.
He was welcomed into heaven by his parents; his brother, Harlen; two sisters, Yvonne (Bo) and Odelle; and son Layton. He is survived by his wife, Judy Oliver Davenport; his daughters, Sherry Dominey, Glenda Lorenzo, Crystal Riggs and Brieonne Davenport; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Survived also by Judy's five children, Stacey Norton, Kimberly Thunstrom, Danetta Marquart, Kris Bird, Mark Norton; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as numerous beloved nephews, nieces and extended family.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Garden City Funeral Home with a graveside service following at St. Mary's Annex
