Glenda Smith Bauer (Hawkins)

Glenda Ella Hawkins-Smith died July 27, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on March 15, 1961 in Medford, Oregon to Robert & Sarah (Baker) Hawkins. She attended school in Yaak, Philipsburg, and Seeley Lake, MT. She graduated from Seeley-Swan High School. Her early years were spent taking care of children at the Community Hospital Staff Daycare. She enjoyed having her own business, The Fun-Loving Daycare. In 1986, she married Stephen H. Smith and enjoyed many happy years married to him until his death in 2003.

She is survived by her children, Jetta and Autumn; her mother, Sarah Hawkins; her siblings, Julie Mann, Gary Hawkins, Peggy Gerig, and Cliff (Mary) Hawkins; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Smith; her father, Robert Hawkins; brother-in-law, Raymond A. Mann; her in-laws, Richard & Pru Smith.

Glenda loved life and her kitties very much. She also loved doing crafts, picnics, and camping.

Glenda was a born again Christian and loved the Lord.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Garden City Funeral Home on Friday, August 2, 2024 and officiated by Shane Olsen.
