MISSOULA – Glen Norbet Cooper, 87, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Riverside Health Care in Missoula.
Glen was born May 23, 1925, in Ovando to John Glen Cooper and Andra Potter Cooper. He grew up in Ovando, attending the Ovando two-room schoolhouse.
He served in the Army during World War II from 1943 to 1946.
Glen married Alyce Beverly Anthony on Aug. 20, 1949, in Missoula.
He enjoyed the outdoors and camping and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He liked woodworking and motorcycles. Glen was a member of Amvets and the American Legion. He worked at Intermountain Mill as a lumber grader and also worked at Garden City Floral.
He liked to have a good time and play his guitar to people around the campfire. He was a very good father and loving grandfather.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Ronald Cooper and sister Norma Rail.
He is survived by his wife, Alyce Cooper of Missoula; sons, Wayne Cooper of Drummond and Dean and his wife Linda of Drummond; daughters, Linda Morrison of Maricopa, Calif., and Darlene Cooper of Freeport, N.Y.
A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Cremation &â�,��**Burial Society of the Rockies.
