Geraldine Hill

Geraldine (Pfau) Hill, 83, of Missoula, formerly of Stevensville, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 with family at her side at St. Patrick Hospital.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2023 at Garden City Funeral Home with a reception to follow.  Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.

Geraldine Ann Hill, daughter of George and Rose (Gress) Pfau, was born March 25, 1940 in Missoula, Montana.  She grew up on a farm near Stevensville and attended Stevensville schools.  Geri was united in marriage with Marvin Hill and four children were born to this union.  She worked as an admin for most of her working career at Farmer’s State Bank, the Ravalli County Treasurer’s office, and also cut hair at the Lady Bug Salon.  Geri ended her career working at the Boeing Employee Credit Union in Seattle.

Geri enjoyed growing up on a farm and was known to fish, hunt, and ride motorcycles in her early life.  She enjoyed square dancing, playing cards, bingo, golfing, and tending to her garden in her free time.  Above all else, she was proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and cherished the time she was able to spend with her loved ones.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Geni (Gary) Giddens; Pam (Bob) Harmon; Bill Hill; Cheri Pijanowski; nine grandchildren, Megan (Ramu) Yalamanchi; Amanda (Sam) Mobley; Travis (Sioban) Monroe; Jessica (Griffin) Lawler; Jenna (Jason) Strain; Joshua (Alison Fay Bramlet) Pijanowski; Zach, C.J., and Chloe Pijanowski; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Mary Ralls; brother, Jim (Pat) Pfau; sister-in-law, Linda Pfau; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rose Pfau; brothers, George Pfau, Jr.; Jack Pfau; brother-in-law, Mike Ralls.
