Gerald Wayne Trainor, 53, of Plains, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at St. Luke Community Hospital in his new home town of Ronan due to medical complications.
He was born on May 3, 1960, in Butte to John and Thelma Trainor. Born and raised in Butte, he graduated from Butte High in 1978.
He enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Minnesota Vikings, and his all-time favorite "Rocky" movies. He also loved stock car racing and camping.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, a cousin and elder sister.
He is survived by his two brothers, Don (Ella) Trainor and Rick Trainor, both of Forsyth. Also two sisters, Terri (Joe) Battles of Columbia, Missouri, and Brenda (Ron) of Missoula. Along with many nieces nephews, a few great-nieces and nephews and all of his friends from Plains and Ronan.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 6 at 10 a.m. at the Ronan Activity Center, 219 Main St., Ronan. Reception to follow.
