Gerald Arthur Preszler (Jerry)

– Gerald (Jerry) Arthur Preszler, 72, Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother passed away on May 28, 2015 after a battle with cancer; surrounded by family in Helena, Montana.
Jerry was born on September 9, 1942, in Missoula, Montana, the son of Melvin and Pauline Preszler. Jerry graduated High School in Missoula, Montana. Jerry worked as an Electronic Technician for the Montana Telephone Company and Addressograph Multigraph (AM). Several years later, he became a print shop co-owner of the Copy Shop in Helena. Prior to his retirement, which was over ten years ago, Jerry worked many years for the Health Dept. of the State of Montana.
Jerry loved spending time outdoors, most recently at Canyon Ferry Lake. He loved to hike. When not at the lake, he spent his time on the computer working on many pictures and videos he had taken while there.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Pauline Preszler. He is survived by his loving wife Nanette; daughter, Tina Bailen (spouse, Steve) of Boise, Idaho; three sons, Richard Preszler of North Bend, Washington, Darren Preszler of Boise Idaho, and Cory Ramer (spouse, Amy) of Kalispell, Montana and brother, Alan Preszler of Missoula, Montana; and his grandchildren, Moriah and Taylor Bailen of Boise, Idaho and MacKenzie and Cody Ramer of Kalispell, Montana.
Funeral services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 7405 Mullan Road, Missoula, Montana 59808 at 11am, June 5, 2015. A luncheon will be held immediately after the funeral services.
Viewing will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am.
Interment – Sunset Memorial Gardens
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sunset Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ronald McDonald House or a charity of your choice.
