Gerald L. Noyd “Jerry”, retired business owner, died peacefully at home with his loving family by his side.

Jerry was born on June 12, 1937 to Gilbert and Daisy (Anderson) Noyd, in Jamestown, New York. Jerry served in the United States Navy Seabees as a construction mechanic from 1959 to 1962 and was honorably discharged.

In 1962, Jerry married Lorraine Kubera from Buffalo, New York.  The couple bought their first business, Akron Bakery in 1965 and moved to Clarence, New York.

Being an entrepreneur and his love of the outdoors and fishing, moved his family to Columbia Falls, Montana and purchased the Cedar Lodge Motel.  Jerry was successful in his other businesses, Tri City Grocery in Kalispell, and Days Inn in Missoula.  He retired to spend some time in Mexico before purchasing gift shops in Missoula Hotels.  Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.
