Gerald "Jerry" Kline

Gerald "Jerry" Kline, 71, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at his home with his wife and all four kids by his side. Jerry was born Nov. 1, 1943, in Huntley to William and Ida (Weist) Kline.

Jerry and Colleen were married Dec. 24, 1980, and were married for 34 wonderful years. Jerry was an amazing husband, father and grandfather, and he enjoyed his grandkids every day. He also enjoyed fishing and his job of being a truck driver for over 40 years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Friedt; son, Kevin Kline; and granddaughter, Hudson. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; sons, Chris (Susie) Turner of Kalispell and Brian (Erin) Kline of Polson; daughters, Jamie Turner of Missoula and Heidi Kline of Hawaii; grandchildren, Jordyn, Drew, Makaleigh, Dusty, Jakob, Marcus, Makenna, Bella, Kyra, Brody, Eva and Evan; sister, Kristy Kline; brother, Toby Kline; and numerous other family members.

Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Garden City Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will take place after the funeral at Missoula City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Heidi Kline, Brian Kline, Chris Turner, Drew Turner, Toby Kline and Drew Unruh. Honorary pallbearers are all of his grandchildren.
