George E. Lloyd passed away peacefully at his home on October 10,2018. He was born in Missoula on September 29, 1924 to Josephine Wagerer Lloyd and Elmer Lloyd. He was the youngest of two children.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a rifle expert and was awarded three medals.
After the war he returned to Missoula and on March 17,1949 he married Jeanette Montreuil and the couple had two children. After her passing he married Joan Pulver in 1968.
He worked as an electrician for various local companies as well as the University of Montana and Honeywell Corporation.
He is survived by his daughters Kim Lloyd of Helena and Debby(Gary) Grossman of Seeley Lake, Laurie Lamb of Blairmore, Alberta, Canada, Carol(Keith) Krueger of Aberdeen, Washington, Tom(Jan) Pulver of Deming, Washington, grandaughter Amber Grossman and great granddaughter Lily Grossman of Florence, grandson Aaron(Mary) Grossman of Missoula, great grandsons Riley Grossman and Ty Grossman of Missoula, sister Margaret Kirschbaum of Spokane, Washington and aunt Vivian Viche of Missoula.
