MISSOULA – Our friend "Trapper" went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, due to his health. He was a joy to all of us. Many of us spent hours discussing a variety of subjects with Trapper. He spent most of his life living off the land in the mountains of Wyoming and Montana. He had a great love of history and was especially intrigued by the tools and weapons of different times, often carving replicas of them to share with others. Trapper also served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at the Western Montana Veterans Cemetery, 1911 Tower St. A celebration of his life will follow at Deano's Casino on North Reserve Street. It will be a potluck.
