Gary E. Robbins

Gary E. Robbins 70, of Alberton, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

Gary was born to Rose and Cary Robbins on Jan. 1, 1945, in Sterling, Illinois. He married Joyce (Kennedy) Morrissey on Dec. 31, 1969, in Erie, Illinois. Gary was an Army veteran, serving in Texas and Alaska. He worked as an auto body repairman for over 40 years.

He is survived by his trusted companion, Bondo; children, Marty (Mary Grund) Robbins of Marathon, Wisconsin, Gary (Jessica) Robbins of Buckeye, Arizona, Linda (Ben) Nentwig of Stevensville and Diane (Dave) Payseno of Lakewood, Colorado; stepchildren, Paula (Cy) Sandholdt of Subula, Iowa, Jay (Melody) Morrissey of Erie, Brad (Shelley) Morrissey of Des Plaines, Illinois, and Jeff Morrissey of Erie; 24 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Bales of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Eric Morrissey.
