Gary Joe Case

Gary Joe Case, 65, lost his short, but courageous battle to throat cancer on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017.

He was a gift for Don and Millie Case. He spent his childhood growing up in Paradise Valley and Clinton. He graduated from Sentinel High School in 1970. After high school he spent two years in the Army. He married Julie Bush in 1971 and had two girls, Ricci and Robbi. He and Julie later divorced.

Gary spent his career working for the plywood plant in Bonner. After the mill closed, he then went to work for Missoula Saws.

Gary enjoyed his golden retriever, hunting, fishing, camping, horseback riding, going for drives up in the mountains and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Chris, daughters Ricci Johnson (Travis), Robbi Ludemann (Ryan). Stepson's Randy Gress (Julie), Darrin Gress (Shelly) and Christopher Gordan and eight grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Millie, father Don and sister Joy.

Cremation has already taken place.

Celebration of life will be held at a later time.
