Frank Andrew Winters, son of James and Margaret (Serna) Winters, was born September 27, 1948 in Sante Fe, New Mexico. He graduated from Downey High School in Downey, California in 1966. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Winters and two children were born to this union. The couple later separated. Frank was united in marriage with Belinda “Linda” Casiano on August 8, 2000 in Orange, California. He worked at Fluor Daniel as an Electrical / Control Systems Department Manager for 48 years.
Frank’s passion was cycling and regularly biked 70 to 80 miles on rides. Some of his favorite rides were in Alaska, Montana, Yellowstone National Park and the Northeastern states during the fall foliage. He was a member of BoW (Boys of Wednesday) biking group in Missoula. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, going to the gym, and reading. Frank had many fond memories vacationing with his family all over the United States. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and friends. Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed.
Frank Winters passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Community Medical Center in Missoula, he was 73 years of age.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 21 years, Linda Winters; two children, Ryan (Robin) Winters; Heather (Daimon) Mircheff; four grandchildren, Suraya Mircheff; Ethan Mircheff; Aiden Winters; Hailey Winters; sisters, Pat Hopkins; Dorothy Winters; brother, Don (Charlene) Winters; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Winters; brother, Jim Winters.
A memorial gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Garden City Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.
