Frank Emmett Ross, 81, of Missoula, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015, of natural causes.
Frank was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Dillon to Jack and Marie Ross. In 1941, the family moved to Ronan, where he worked on a small farm while going to school. After graduating from Ronan High School, he joined the Marine Corps and served during the Korean conflict as an MP.
Frank married in 1955 and had two sons, Steve and John.
He had a long career with REA Express Co., working in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Seattle, Sioux City, Iowa, and Missoula. After REA went bankrupt, Frank did various jobs around Ronan, delivering freight, working at the grade school, the cemetery and a local hardware store.
Frank loved cars and car racing, sports, especially the Grizzlies, playing cards and reading.
Survivors include two brothers, Dick (Florida) and Jake (Flathead Lake); sons, Steve (Helena) and John (Vancouver, Washington); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marie; and siblings, Della and John.
There will be a private interment.
