Evelyn Charlotte Priddy, 90, of Clinton, MT passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 in her sleep while at home in Clinton.
She was born on May 21, 1926 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Martha Schaul. She grew up on the southside of Chicago and wore out many pairs of roller skates in the process. She graduated from High School, studied at the Chicago Art Institute, and was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
On September 24, 1977, she married C.R. “Buck” Priddy making their home in East Missoula before moving to Clinton in 1984. In 1989, they traveled to Germany, one of the high points of their lives.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she enjoyed sewing, making quilts, her garden, and watching the birds gather at her bird feeders on her porch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck, and her sister, Margerite.
Survivors include a son and his family, Robert (Bertha) Hudson, Stafford, VA; two daughters and their families, Lorraine Simmons, Missoula, and Karla (Monty) Moore, Clinton; a brother, Albert Schaul, Rancho Bernardo, CA; along with ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Clinton Community Church.
