Eugene Francis Donaldson

April 2, 1932 — June 28, 2022

Eugene Francis Donaldson, 90, of Missoula passed away on June 28th, 2022 of natural causes. He was born April 2, 1932 to Hilda and Charles Donaldson in Hall, MT. As a young child he was raised in the “Poison Patch” out of Hall. Eugene attended Hall Grade School and finished his sophomore year at Drummond High School.
On February 9, 1951 Eugene married Willadene Dorothy Daigle in the Catholic Church in Drummond. Together, they made their home in Philipsburg and then moved to Missoula. Eugene worked for Anaconda Smelting Plant, Anaconda Lumber in Bonner and finished his career at L.P Wood Products in Missoula.
He enjoyed wood crafts, flower gardening, mechanics and traveling. He had a love for animals as well. Eugene always had a project he was creating such as his homemade snowplow, can crusher and drag saw.
Eugene is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Willadene. He is survived by his children; Carl, Wanda, Donnette and Charlene, six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy and brother Douglas.
Services will be held at Garden City Funeral Home on Monday, July 18th at 11:00am.
