Obituary for Ethel Sexton

Ethel Sexton, 91, passed away April 17, 2015 from natural causes. She was the most wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother in the world.
Ethel was born in eastern Kentucky on May 12, 1923 to Genette and Tom Mosley.
Ethel met and married Raymond Sexton on November 16, 1951 in Kentucky. They raised their three children in Kentucky and later moved to southern California. Mom loved to cook, sew, camp and fish. She was a champion fisherwoman, she could out fish anyone, anywhere at any time. She was a stay at home mom and spent her life caring for her family up to her final days.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and her husband. She missed her husband the past 8 years every day.
She is survived by her three children; Jonnie (Vivian) Sexton, Betty (Ralph) Redman and Ruth (Art) Gonzales; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; numerous brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews. She had a special companion; Alvin, who loved the back scratches and doggie treats she gave.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday. April 21, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Garden City Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at Missoula City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank everyone that has been involved in Ethel's care these many years.
