Erin David Morris

Erin David Morris, 38, born and raised in Missoula, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
Erin was born in Missoula to Rebecca J. Morris on May 15, 1978 and grew up in the upper Grant Creek area and later, the lower Rattlesnake area. He graduated from Hellgate High School in 1996 with honors in English.
Erin served in the USMC and was honorably discharged in 1999 with the rank of Corporal.
He moved back to Missoula where he worked nights and attended the University of Montana, majoring in English. He went on to teach school at Anaconda High School for some time before returning to Missoula where he worked for Summit Beverage until his passing.
Erin was an avid runner, athletic fitness buff, musical genius, basketball player and will be remembered as quite the lady’s man.
Erin will be missed and loved every day until the end of time. Every person that was blessed to have met him will miss his sarcasm, humor and never ending personality.
Erin is survived by his mother, Rebecca J. Morris, his sister, Seralita Morris, sister Leah Morris Miller, brother-in-law Matt Miller and nephew Forrest R. Weigum.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at 2pm at Garden City Funeral Home followed by a reception in the funeral home’s community room. Condolences for the family may be left at gardencityfh.com
