Erik Gritzinger Sr.

Erik Matthew Gritzinger Sr. of Pray, MT, passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 39. Born in Tampa, FL on January 13, 1985, Erik was a beloved son to his mother, Bridget Gritzinger. Erik was known for his fun-loving nature and a remarkable ability to bring smiles to the faces of all who knew him. His brother JW described him as protective, compassionate, loving, generous, and a role model to him growing up.

Though Erik faced challenges, he persevered with a unique sense of humor and a loving spirit that touched the lives of his family and friends. His daughter, Haley Jane, fondly described him as handsome, loving, kind, funny, and a jerk.

Erik is preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell Gritzinger.

Having spent his life in the embrace of his loved ones, Erik is survived by his mother Bridget Gritzinger, his daughter Haley Jane, son Erik Matthew Jr. (EJ), brother James, sister Amber, brother Elijha, sister-in-law Autumn, and bonus mom Kim. His light-hearted and playful nature made him the best big brother and an amazing father to his children. His warm and goofy personality turned every moment spent with him into a cherished memory.
