Emma B B. "Emlie" Jacobson

Emma B. "Emily" B. Newton Jacobson died on Monday, July 28. 2014. She was 93 years old.

Emily (as she was known) was born on June 10, 1921, in Los Angeles, California. Emily grew up in Hermosa Beach, California. As an adult during World War II, she worked at various defense factories to provide for her daughters. She was a hardworking mother who loved her daughters with all of her heart and soul.

She was predeceased by her husband Edwin Jacobson. She is survived by her three daughters, Jeanette Joy Higel, Susan P. Case and Lori L. Jacobson, as well as six great-great-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and five grandchildren.

She was laid to rest at Superior Cemetery on Thursday, July 31
