Elsie Lemm

MISSOULA - Elsie Margaret Lemm, 95, passed away Tuesday, January. 20, 2009, at her home in Missoula.





She was born August. 13, 1913, to Otto and Bessie Kenast in Torrington, Wyo. Elsie was raised and educated in Wyoming. She moved to Montana in 1945.





Elsie had three children, Juanita Ann, Everett William and Lucille.





She is survived by Lucille and her husband Norm Gilstad of Hamilton; and Everett and his wife Shirley Lemm of Anchor Point, Alaska; grandchildren, Greg and Johanna of Soldotna, Alaska; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Morgan.





Elsie loved to grow flowers and her garden was always great. She worked as a cook and also in the hotel and motel business. She will be remembered by many people.





Elsie was preceded in death by her daughter, Juanita Ann; mother and father; two sisters; two brothers; grandson, Eric.





Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, January. 23, at Garden City Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January. 24, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in New St. Mary’s Cemetery.
