Elisabet Runyan

“Liz” Elisabet K. Runyan, 77, passed away on June 8, 2024, at her home in Bonner, MT. Her only daughter Daye Price and son-in-law Dustin Price were by her side. Liz was born in Hveragerdi, Iceland on October 24th, 1946. She was adopted by her stepfather, Robert Lee Samuell on February 21st, 1959. Before moving to the U.S. Liz grew up in Iceland, and spent time with an aunt and uncle in Germany before traveling to the U.S. where she had two children: a daughter, Daye Price, and her son, Per Loewy. Liz was preceded in death by her father, Robert Samuell, her mother, Lydia Ruth, and brother, Einar Samuell. She is survived by her daughter, Daye Price her son, Per Loewy, and 2 grandchildren; Beth Loewy and Josh Loewy, and 3 great-grandchildren; Addie, Vinnie, and Amelia. Liz is also survived by her sister, Audrey Ardison, and brother James Ruth as well as several half-siblings. A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Saturday, June 29th at 1 pm at her home she passed away in located at 360 White House Lane, Bonner, MT 59823.
